Syncscribe ("the App") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Data Processing

The App uses on-device processing. Your audio, video, and text data are processed locally and are not uploaded to our servers:

The App does not proactively collect personally identifiable information. We do not collect your name, phone number, device identifiers, IP address, or usage data for analytics, marketing, or any other purpose.

If you use the URL download feature to import files from the web, the App only accesses the links you actively enter to fetch files. It does not track your browsing behavior or collect other network data.

If you contact us through the in-app "User Support & Feedback", the web feedback form, or email, we receive the email address, name (if provided), and message content you choose to send. We use this information only to respond to support requests and improve the product, not for advertising, tracking, or profiling.

The App may request the following system permissions, solely for core functionality:

You can revoke these permissions at any time in system settings. Revoking them will disable related features but will not affect other functionality.

4. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or data collection services. Transcription and translation are performed entirely on your device and do not rely on external APIs.

5. Subscription Status

The App may offer auto-renewable subscriptions processed by the Apple App Store. Payments, refunds, billing information, and subscription management are handled by Apple. We do not collect or store your credit card details, payment account, billing address, or other payment information.

The App uses Apple StoreKit to receive the subscription status needed to determine whether certain features should be unlocked, such as product identifiers, whether a subscription is active, and expiration or revocation status. For users who paid to download the App before the subscription model launched, the App may also use the original purchase date from StoreKit app-level transaction information to retain the core feature access associated with the purchased version. These statuses are used only to provide the services you purchased or subscribed to and are not used for advertising, tracking, or profiling.

6. Data Storage and Deletion

Your transcription results, edits, and exported files are stored only on your device or in locations you specify. We cannot access, store, or transmit your local files.

You can delete local files and related permissions in the App, Finder, or system settings. For support emails or feedback messages you voluntarily send to us, you can request deletion by emailing support@jjjlove.com.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Policy Updates

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be announced in the App or on this page. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
